Atlantiq was a collaborative project between myself and longtime friend DJ Kaos, which was responsible for several well-received releases--and a ton of unreleased tunes of variying quality--before disbanding in early 2002. While Atlantiq is on semi-permanent hiatus nowadays (Chris and I have talked about doing something again, but nothing too serious), the name lives on with our past releases on Nexus Recordings (Good Looking), Dune, Elite Recording and various assorted compilations.

But if you weren't able to find Atlantiq mateirals in your local record shops--and, lets face it, that's probably most of you--I am proud to offer much of the Atlantiq back catalog to you as free high-quality digital files. Download and enjoy!

(Note 7 December 2006: The Atlantiq soundfiles are still being organized and sorted...please check back soon)

• Future: Not Inert (2000)

• Strobe (2000)
Status: Unreleased. Good Looking was originally going to pick this one up, until some sort of office staff shake-up caused the DAT master to be lost. Or, at least that's what we were told at the time.

• Pulsar (1999)
Status: Released as the A-Side of Elite Recordings #1 in 5/2000. It doesn't sound like Future Engineers that much!

• Nothing To Lose (1999)
Status: Signed to Nexus Recordings but unreleased. This one is a bit different than the rest of the Atlantiq catalog, with a more eerie jazz feel... mostly because we challanged ourselves to do one tune without filtered pad sweeps! It has a cool half-time breakdown too.

• M33 (1999)
Status: Released on the Nexus Recordings "Soul Survivors" CD album (NEXUS CD01) in 8/2000. It was also supposed to be on the vinyl, but the Good Looking office dicided at the last minute to replace "M33" and the b-side ("Realtime" by Funky Technicians) with two Future Engineers tunes; a very limited amount of vinyl promos have the original tracklisting with "M33" and "Realtime", and some copies of the full vinyl release had M33 as well (mislapbled as "Testing" by Rantoul) . "M33" was officially moved back to be part of Nexus' next vinyl release, but the label folded before it could be realized.
